"While a Life Scout, a Scout must plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a service project to any religious institution, school, or community. As a demonstration of leadership, the Scout must plan the work, organize the personnel needed, and direct the project to its completion." - Boy Scout Requirements 2011
Life Scout David Carroll will be working on completing his Eagle Scout Service Project this week. We will be painting the Holy Name School Cafeteria, a space that our troop uses frequently for troop meetings and other activities. The project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, February 22 at 8:30 AM. Work should continue until about 3:00 PM or so. We anticipate working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided on those days. All current scouts are required to support at least one day of the project. So grab your favorite painting shirt and a roller and come help David as he continues his climb towards becoming an Eagle Scout. If you can come support David and his efforts contact him directly.
